Jeffrey Latz, PT, MS, CMPT, CSCS

Jeff has been a PT since 1998. He has owned BACKtoGOLF since 2001 and became the sole owner in 2019. He has a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from NY Medical College. He believes the best way to help care for patients and guide them through the rehabilitation process is to use his clinical reasoning expertise performing a comprehensive evaluation and taking the time to listen to each patient. Jeff has a keen interest in Manual Therapy and enjoys the challenges of working with the athletic population, including many local high school, college athletes, semi-pro hockey players and professional golfers. He continues to believe in the importance of continuing education and further learning. Jeff completed a Manual Therapy credential from the North American Institute of Manual Therapy in 2010 and is a Strength and Conditioning specialist. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy association and the National Strength and Conditioning association. When not working, Jeff enjoys playing hockey, golf and spending time with his two boys and blended family.

Melissa Stahl, PT, DPT

Melissa graduated from Sonoma State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2012. Melissa went on to work on the Peninsula for 4 years, but the beauty of Sonoma County drew her back north. Melissa played basketball while at Sonoma State and was a patient at BACKtoGOLF rehabilitating from a hip injury. She ended her career at Sonoma as the Women’s Basketball Student Assistant Coach. Melissa continues to be active, enjoying running, weight training, boating, snowboarding, and cycling. Melissa has a keen interest in Manual Therapy as well as women’s health issues and sports-related injuries. She has recently completed advanced Women’s health training. Melissa continues to work with many of our first responders using her clinical expertise to help guide them back to work. She continues to challenge herself and further her education in these areas. Melissa believes in being an advocate for her patients’ and relies on her advanced knowledge and compassion to guide them through the rehab process. When not at work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her young daughter and family.

Paige Perez, PT, DPT, MTC

Paige graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. She then pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences graduating in 2020. Paige completed her Manual Therapy certification in 2023 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and continues to be dedicated to pursue further expertise in the field of orthopedic patients. She currently enjoys an active lifestyle including cycling, walking her dogs and resistance training. Paige is interested in Manual Therapy and sports rehab including younger children with Orthopedic injuries. Her goal is to educate patients about the rehab process and help them introduce an active lifestyle to maintain their strength and health for many years to come.

Louis Venditti, PT, DPT, CSCS

Louis’ educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology Strength and Conditioning from the University of Louisville, which led to earning a certificate in Strength and Conditioning from the NSCA. He then graduated in 2022 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University and has worked in outpatient orthopedics in North Carolina for the last year, until deciding to relocate to Sonoma County with his family. Louis previously worked at BacktoGolf as a PT Aide prior to completing his physical therapy degree and is excited to be back as a Physical Therapist. Louis enjoys working with the active population with a focus in team sports, runners, and weightlifters. Outside of work he enjoys baseball, weightlifting, and golf as well as spending time with his wife, Emily, son, Louis IV, dog, Lucy, and friends/family.

Diane Veach, PTA

Diane earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from James Madison University in Virginia. She worked for many years as a high school teacher, during which time she coached girls’ and boys’ volleyball and guided outdoor rock-climbing trips for adolescents. More recently, she returned to school and earned her Associate of Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from San Juan College in New Mexico. Diane began her career in Physical Therapy as a PT Aide at BACKtoGOLF in 2019 and is excited to now be on staff as a PTA. She enjoys educating patients and helping them achieve their rehab goals. She is specifically interested in Women’s Health and in working with older adults who struggle with balance and physical deconditioning. In her free time, Diane enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school and spending time outdoors.
